The Lawnswood Staff

Whatever the role here at Lawnswood you must satisfy our basic staff policy - You must own and love animals, be honest and reliable. With this in mind we have recruited some great people to help us deliver the best possible service.....

Brian Hill

joined us in July 2007 after many years in the hospitality industry.

Brian looks after the northern suburbs and enjoys his role with us helping people in his daily work.

His housemate is 'Beckham' a 9 year old Maltese x Lhaso Apso.

Christine Evans

is our Co-ordinator Thursday - Saturday noon and has spent many years as a manager in organisations which like us require meticulous attention to paperwork and procedures.

Christine owns Oscar the Miniature Schnauzer, Sooty the cat and LuLu the 27 year old Galah!

Jo McKee

manages our office in Malaga but lives on a small property with her 2 dogs, cat, 3 horses, 3 sheep, goose and assorted chickens. A registered vet nurse for more than 20 years, Jo has helped many owners through difficult times.

Karen Carozzi

prepares the vessels for the ashes to return home in and has a keen eye for detail having worked as a senior vet nurse for many years at some of Perth's leading vets.

At home Karen looks after two Lovebirds, numerous fish, tadpoles and frogs!

Martin 'Bart' Lowthe

is our Co-ordinator at the Crematorium and Cemetery and as you can see is a real joker! But seriously he is a true animal lover and we really need to get a better photo of him.

When he's not working with Lawnswood Bart runs the Bakers Hill cattery with his wife Nancy.

Peter Gates

our man of many hats, looks after the hills area east of Perth as far as Northam and the south west including Collie, Pinjarra, Bunbury and as far south as Margaret River. He is also our primary person for looking after horse cremations in all areas as well as helping out in the office.

Having run his own business before, Peter pays a lot of attention to detail and always thinks a few steps ahead which is essential with our type of service. Pete’s pets are Whippets called Lilly and Pip.

Ray Forward

is our Co-ordinator Monday -Wednesday and has had many of his own pets looked after by Lawnswood before he came to work with us. He spent many years in hospital administration and management and this experience is invaluable to us.

Ray has always enjoyed the chance to help people in his daily work.

Rod Ogden

services south of the Canning river as far as Mandurah.

Rod and his wife are animal lovers from way back. In Winter their dog Jessie and Simba the cat are brought inside to the heater each night and Simba is wrapped in a blanket for good measure.

Sharon Ellis

helps Bart at the crematorium and services the York area where she lives on a small property. Kelly (pictured) is her constant companion and believes that Sharon’s main purpose in life is to throw the ball.

Sue Botha

our longest serving employee, handles engraving and accounts as well as helping with general inquiries.

Sue has Myla and Muffin the Maltese Terriers, as well as Smokey & Dillie the cats. Dillie got her name because Sue's daughter couldn't pronounce 'Kitty' as a baby. Numerous fish complete the menagerie.
